Our Work
True Dream NGO has been working relentlessly to bring about a positive impact on the communities that we work for. We have taken steps to alleviate and empower slum dwellers, children, and women. The NGO has been working towards its mission of inclusivity for all since 2009. We also organize free-of-cost education seminars for disadvantaged children. We firmly believe that even the underprivileged children have right to education because only then can they launch themselves into a successful career and get an insight into the real world and be independent. Our team spreads awareness amongst people regarding the need for adequate sanitation, child education, and women empowerment. We collaborate with existing public health systems and health care providers to make a positive long-term impact on the health of the people. We also work to raise funds for natural calamities, child education, and women empowerment. Moreover, we have been organizing Bhandara Swea in different parts of Delhi, online and offline teaching sessions for children, self-defense classes for girls, a senior citizen assistance program, women empowerment classes, and a free health checkup camp. We have also been organising a Hanuman Chalisa trail in a number of temples to help the youth connect more with their religion and instill in them their positive values.
When the pandemic struck our country and adversely affected numerous people, our team was determined to help those in need. We worked extremely hard to provide proper healthcare to the people. We took an initiative to help the people who needed assistance in Delhi which was called the Covid-19 programme. Under this programme, we supplied comprehensive family packages to the people impacted which mostly consisted of dry rations and self-care items, organised sensitization drives to spread awareness, helped the elderly to get vaccinated by providing them a medium of transport to commute to and from the vaccination centres. Our NGO also organized a sanitization campaign where we distributed hand sanitizers, masks, ration kits, oxygen cylinders, oxymeters, and medical kits to the people living in Delhi. The main target group of the initiative were the most vulnerable groups who lack the resources to afford even the basic necessities and those who faced difficulties in getting themselves and their families vaccinated. With Covid-19 on its peak, we made sure that we reached out a helping hand to our communities. Our team of hard wokring volunteers provided food and milk to the poor people residing in Delhi.
We also tracked the residences where migrant workers lived to provide them ration packages during the pandemic. We did not forget about the people who were moving back to their homeland. We ensured that sufficient food and water was available to them, which would last their entire journey. We aim to pave the path for the youth of our country and assist them in making their dreams come true. This is only the beginning of the change that we wish to bring in our country. Our vision is holistic development for all and we will continue to work towards it relentlessly.
